Storytime on the Steps of the Reading Public Library

Families, library staff and community leaders all gathered on the steps of the Reading Public Library Saturday for “Storytime on the Steps”. The hour long event featured readings from several children’s books, musical performances and a few ‘back-to-school’ craft giveaways.

Looking to provide an educational, yet fun environment for children to learn, the Reading Public Library holds events like Storytime on the Steps to exposed children to a wide variety of authors and writing styles.

Readers included Tasha Santiago, Donna Reed, Joel Gory and Jaclyn Nagle. Storytime on the Steps also featured musical performances by Mereliss Colon and Mariachi Singer Ivan Bravo. View the photo gallery below:
