Hex Pies, Empanadas, New Craft Brews Arrive at FirstEnergy Stadium

The Reading Fightin Phils have announced the addition of several new food offerings at FirstEnergy Stadium for the 2019 season. These concessions include Hex Pies, empanadas, Skye Energy Drinks, Jack and Jill Ice Cream, and Berks Packing Organic Hot Dogs.

Hex Pies, a Pennsylvania Dutch specialty meat pie, will be available all season long at the Plaza Favorites stand down the right field line. Empanadas will also be sold at the same location throughout the season. Both are new offerings this season courtesy of a brand new partnership with Dundore and Heister.

Skye Energy Drinks will now be sold at bars and grab-and-go locations throughout the stadium. The Fightins have also teamed up with Jack and Jill Ice Cream, who will feature vanilla, chocolate, and mint chocolate chip flavors.

Berks Packing will provide a healthy hot dog option, with all-beef, organic hot dogs available all season long.

The R-Phils have also added several new beer partners. This season FirstEnergy Stadium will feature options from 1787 Brewing Company, Rusty Rail Brewing Company, Crowded Castle Brewing, and Tattered Flag Brewing, as well as an expanded partnership with Yuengling.

The home opener at FirstEnergy Stadium will take place on Friday, April 12th, when the Fightins host the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:10 p.m.
