Walnuttown Fire Company celebrates 100th Anniversary with parade

The Walnuttown Fire Company in Fleetwood celebrated their 100th year anniversary Saturday with a parade and community party. Starting at Willow Creek Elementary, 35 fire trucks from 15 different departments joined in on the celebratory parade. A few traveling from as far as the Lehigh Valley.

Planning for the event started in November 2016 said Walnuttown Fire Chief Jeff Buck. “Our company is always out of the box and we like doing things different. We went to a couple of light and sirens parades and decided to do it ourselves.”
