Jess Royer, candidate for Berks County Commissioner, announced a new series he is hosting, “Coffee with the candidate”. The meetings are an opportunity for the public to meet with Royer and learn about his campaign.
The first will be held Sunday, December 2nd from 12-2 pm at Cafe Bold in West Reading. The second stop of the series will be at Uptown Espresso Bar in Kutztown on December 16th. The campaign will be visiting various cafes and coffee shops throughout Berks County over the course of the campaign, offering Berks County voters a casual, open forum to get to know Jess and share issues important to them. All members of the public are invited to attend these informal events.
In addition to the Coffee with the Candidate event series, a holiday-themed fundraiser will be held at the Jim Dietrich Farmhouse in Muhlenberg Township on Sunday December 9th from 1:30-3:30 pm. This family-friendly fundraiser will feature cookies, cocoa, and holiday-themed activities. Also, canned food items will be collected for donation to the Greater Berks Food Bank.
