1860’s Murder Mystery ‘Case of the Golden Spike’ visits the WK&S Line

Who stole ‘The Golden Spike? The coveted Golden Spike scheduled to be driven into the ground on May 10, 1869 at a special ceremony uniting the Central Pacific and Union Pacific rails is missing and not only is the spike gone, but one of the “Big Four”, Mr. Timothy Twaintwessle, III, one of the original conceivers of this glorious event was found dead in his stateroom while transporting The Golden Spike to it’s final destination. We need you to help us solve the mystery.

That was the premise of the two night production of Way off Track – Case of the Golden Spike as it graced the Hawk Mountain Line, WK&S Railroad. 60+ Crime solvers from around the county boarded classic coach cars to take a trip back in time and solve the mysterious murder.
