‘Padoga Apparel’ Opens Storefront in Downtown Reading

Residents and tourist have a new place to pick up Reading themed apparel and accessories thanks to local entrepreneur Dele Olaewe. Olaewe launched his new apparel brand ‘Pagoda Apparel’, and storefront on Thursday with the help of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance.

Olaewe isn’t new to the custom apparel business. Before opening his storefront on South 6th street, Olaewe operated ‘Teesbyu’, a commercial printing business supplying apparel to several local organizations and sports teams, most notably the Reading Film Fest and the Penn Street Market.

“It’s a long time coming, I always wanted to have a store in downtown Reading, and this gives people a place to buy Reading themed gifts and custom shirts” said Olaewe.

The storefront stocks a variety of Reading themed t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, and more. In addition, Pagoda Apparel offers custom services including screen-printing, embroidery and various promotional products. Summer hours for the store are weekdays, 10-6pm, Saturday 12-5pm.
