A delegation of local Reading leaders is traveling to Germany this week to meet with their peers and discuss exchange programs, expansion of the international partnership, and other shared projects.
Representatives from Reading include City Councilwoman Marcia Goodman-Hinnerschitz, City Councilwoman Donna Reed, Greater Reading Chamber Alliance President Randy Peers, Reading School District Superintendent Dr Khalid Mumin and former City of Reading Mayor Tom McMahon.
On Tuesday, BCTV hosted a special live international Town Hall meeting. Dave Kline of the Reading Eagle moderated the discussion along with a few in studio guests. In Reutlingen, the delegation was joined by Reutlingen Mayor Bosch along with exchange students from Reading Area Community College.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with our local leaders on this telecast, and excited to host an international conversation on our community media channels,” said BCTV Executive Director Heather Adams.
